That is definitely something to weigh when deciding whether to sign up for Remix. I wouldn't try to influence you one way or the other, but I will say that the way you remix a story is almost entirely up to you beyond those few constraints (i.e. keeping pairings and plot/setting), so if you do get an exclusively NC-17 writer, you might be able to remix it at a far lower rating while still keeping the characters together. ...Unless you're concerned that you wouldn't want to *read* the author's NC-17?
