An immodest (birthday) proposal

DC friends & acquaintances! My birthday is coming up the weekend after next, and I would like to go to Secrets, a gay bar where the (male) performers strip down to nothing but shoes and socks. I have never ETA: only once gone to a place like this and, hell, I barely drink, but I think it would be fun. It comes highly recommended by my cousin, and the videos he snuck on his cell phone were certainly enticing.

I figure the night of Friday 7/23 or Saturday 7/24 would be best. Looks like there's a discount on cover Fridays before 10:30. Perhaps we could do dinner before the place opens at 9.

Anyone up for it?

I am actually interested, if worried that I might spend the entire evening blushing into my drink. I've already got plans Friday but they're for 6:30 and unlikely to take more than a couple of hours, so I should be able to make both.

Where is Secrets located, for those of us who probably shouldn't click that link at work?

Trying to find out... i'd like to do dinner first, so either meeting up with Skiffy attendees at Secrets at 9ish, or E might decide to cancel... Email follow-up is probably indeed easiest from here - stay tuned.
