Oh! Yes. I thought you were referring to something in one of our comments in this thread, which had me scratching my head.

I saw your author's note when I read that story of yours before I read her post about it (I only saw it a month or so ago), and suspected there was a Whole Story behind it involving the separate genesis of surprisingly similar ideas, in a hive mind sort of way. Turned out to be more complex, though.
