Alas. Well, I hope this will only be the first of many times I'll get to jot down there in the coming few years.

I don't really have any accommodation recommendations because I'm too close to the area.

That's the irony, right? I couldn't tell anyone where to stay in NYC because we just take the train in and out whenever we want to go. It's almost as hard trying to find hotels in Boston for my parents for later this semester when they visit.

The amount I was looking to spend was dependent on how much other travel I do, because it's all coming out of one thesis travel budget. But now it looks like I may have a friend to stay with, so that takes care of that.
