And so is a chunk of the Polish government. Yikes.

The title is in honor of Ed Wood, which I saw for the first time this week. Quirky and thoroughly enjoyable. Last night it was Bottle Shock, with Bill Pullman and Alan Rickman and hippie new!Kirk, also surprisingly cute. The movie, not Chris Pine. Though [livejournal.com profile] no_detective would disagree.

The actual point of this post is that I am heading out of town for a few days, and, since I won't have a chance to watch House right away, may not reappear on LJ until later in the week. See you then....

(But you are so seldom around these days, how will we notice you're gone? some of you may ask, to which I reply, :P)

Oh and here, have one for the road: Macbeth and Macduff Get Into an Argument Over Semantics. "Okay, but after thou wast ripped, thou wast of woman born."

Thanks for the McSweeney's link--totally made my day (and if I ever have to teach Macbeth, am totally assigning that!)

We saw Bottle Shock this week and just loved it. It took me half the movie to figure out that was Chris Pine, what with the hair in his eyes. :) And that was probably the best part Bill Pullman's had in ages.

I've been meaning to say (I got interrupted while typing the original comment!) that that link was hilarious - like Monty Python does Shakespeare. If there's a difference. Obviously, Macduff should have sprung fully formed from his father's forehead or something. See you!
