Date: Jun. 19th, 2012 01:50 am (UTC)I think it's a great concept (fandom recommends) but I am really quite astounded at the amazing variation of interests of the people who share specific fandom interests with me. Even if we adore actor X or show Y in seemingly exactly the same way, they'll then also be rabid fans of Z which will leave me completely bemused. It's like for fangirling to occur requires a critical mass of one's own very specific kinks in one place *g*
