Date: May. 27th, 2019 01:18 am (UTC)Oh, I should add, these lavender shortbread cookies turned out great and were simple (I am not a very experienced baker), and I've considered just subbing out the lavender for some sensible-seeming quantity of matcha powder and seeing what happens. When I do that I'll report on whether the results are any good! My sister has said very hintingly that she would love matcha cookies in the mail. =) But of course, to do that, I have to make sure they are worthy of her nomming!
