My partner really like this book! (I liked it, too, but not as much as they did.)

Aww, I think I remember you really liked Elatsoe? (I did.) I haven't tried A Snake Falls to Earth yet, but am bummed it didn't work for you :( (Though you say "bailed" for other books, so maybe your "DNF" implies less dislike than I think of it implying?)
