Date: Oct. 18th, 2006 03:03 pm (UTC)Yay Dr. Bashir! He and Odo were my absolute favorites of the regular cast. I remember that episode with Dax's ex-lover. It was cool but it was also a cop-out, like the Next Generation ep where Crusher falls for a Trill doctor in a male host body but falls out of love when the host changes to a woman. Star Trek never did very well with its homosexual storylines, even couched in alien explanations like Trill hosts or androgynous races.
