Dammit, I have to go to bed soon. They could have been showing the episode for 20 minutes half an hour 45 minutes already.

ETA: Wait, what? Other people are seeing it? WHY IS OUR FOX SHOWING NEWS INSTEAD OF AIRING THE HOUSE EPISODE THEY'VE BEEN PLUGGING ALL WEEK?

11:02 p.m., episode begins. AGH. *hits Record and goes to bed*

I figured from the number of posts that showed up on my f-list this morning that there was something to like about it, so that's good news. And you know, I wouldn't even mind if I'd known ahead of time that I'd have to wait until Monday evening to watch -- it was the anticipating, and waiting, and waiting, and eventual realization that they were postponing too much, that irked.

YAY SONG. Thank you.

Speaking of "YAY SONG," there are a couple of good ones at the end of this episode. I figured out and DLed one of them, but I'm missing the artist on the very last one. The captions said who/what it was and I only caught the title -- Awake -- and that the artist was _____ & _____. And I can't figure it out and locate a copy based on just that. When you watch, can you try to jot down a few lyrics for me so I can google them?

Sure, np. Least I can do for getting to listen to Joseph Arthur all day today. :)

...Which I have been doing. It is so good. Old-school JA, not that crappy poppy stuff he's been doing the last couple of years.

Do you happen to know if there was ever a full studio recording of Alanis Morissette's "Not As We" from last... fall, or whenever it was?

re: Alanis -- Not that I'm aware of. I just searched again and the best I found was another copy of the live recording I already had, but without all the talking at the beginning. Also, it's about 4 MB instead of freakin' 13 or whatever, so I'm totally uploading that and replacing the old one on my masterlist of House music (which, if anyone is interested in, can be found here (http://thewlisian-afer.livejournal.com/278425.html)).

Too bad; it's pretty. I have a 2.6 MB, 1:54 clip. Clean, but incomplete.

You had to pick the slurriest song in the show! Gah, I can hardly make out any of the words. I thought I made out "What is this I feel, why is it so real" but it's not turning up any lyrics results in Google. Now my dad has appropriated the couch & remote, but I'll try again later.

Well, my dear, if it was easy, I'd've been able to do it myself! XD I was hoping having the ability to go back and adjust volume and stuff like that might help. If not, oh well. The info will be up on the Fox site eventually.

lulz. Actually, after I typed that, I went to check and they have updated the list. Apparently the song is by Mungal & Nitin Sahwney. Hm. :: goes a-huntin' ::

It was pretty, but incomprehensible. Especially to someone like me who routinely misinterprets lyrics that others find obvious. Sorry! But I am glad you found it.
