Twelve hours of Remix-writing, and not done yet. (But close! Well, closer.) My eyeeeeeeeees.

On the bright side, I had a delicious dinner of leftover London broil slices, melted Jack cheese and sauteed onions on toast. I'd never thought to add cheese before at home, even though I like cheesesteak at restaurants. Yum.

"GIP," I guess. This is a pretty icon made by alyburns. I like to pretend it symbolizes John's essential distance from the world. And people's -- here, Rodney's -- attempts to touch him. Metaphorically speaking. And also not.

You know, you know John wanted to be an astronaut at some point. Where is the AU where he's commander of the space shuttle Atlantis (come on, it's there for the taking!) and there's a crisis and Rodney is the mission control engineer who brings him home?

Anyway. What're you all up to?

I'm watching the puppy chew on things to make sure he chews on the right things and not the electrical things, and wondering if I'm going to make deadline for the story I'm writing.(I will. I signed a contract saying I would. But it'll be scary.)

Went for a run this morning -- felt soooooo good to be outside! (I am now SO STIFF!)

Then, watched Jesus Christ Superstar this afternoon.

Now, am blissfully drinking tea, petting my cat, cruising the internet, and just generally chillin'. For the first time in months :D

Re: remix -- you can do it! Just 12 hours to go! ;-) Eat some chocolate covered coffee beans; they were made for just such an all-nighting purpose.

*g* Remixes were due at midnight! I ended up going 14 hours yesterday, and still only posting a draft. Now have to figure out when exactly I can finish it during the week and still get the rest of life stuff done....

Mainlining SGA, and banging my head against the plot-wall of my novel. Aargh. The Killers' collaboration with Lou Reed (Tranquilize) played very loudly is helping a bit.

In other news, I can't wait to read your remix, a) because I like what you write, and b) because I want to figure out how you go about doing a remix. Sounds fun.
