A/N: "The Seed" was just begging for this. Happily, kink_bingo came along with its "tentacles" square. Sorry for the watermark; my S5 DVDs accidentally got shipped to another state.

I will never be able to watch "the seed" in the same way ever again. And Rodney missed out on the tentacle porn, as did Teyla, but I doubt they minded. It does seem more of a John and a Ronon thing to get themselves into. They'd probably enjoy it too. I think I'm babbling because I don't really know what to say. I watched tentacle!porn. That was really, really, really creepy, particularly the non-Hollywoodness of the soundtrack. It sounded like a human breathing, not an actor breathing if that makes sense? It sounded real. Great work.

Thanks very much. It might well have been a non-actor doing the breathing -- it came from a sound effects site that may include clips from "amateur" producers. I'm glad to hear it contributed to the tone of the vid. It is super-creepy, isn't it? And yet also hot, depending on your POV and how you see the characters experiencing what's going on.

"The Seed" made me roll my eyes a lot when it aired, but this vidlet is awesome, because it takes all of the weird porny subtext of everyone on the show being penetrated by tentacles and makes it text. \o/

Heh. I hadn't thought of it as a spoof so much as... highlighting what was already there? I like the idea, though - thanks! And thanks for the comment about the breathing. Finding tentacle-ish music was tough. I was going to go for the beginning of NIN's .... I've just forgotten the title, but the one the infamous Kirk/Spock vid was set to, with the chorus "I want to f*ck you like an animal," something something... anyway, but it would have just cut off, so I tried for a riff on newkidfan's heartbeat idea and found the breath while poking around in some sound effects archives. A little light audio editing to get the right length and climax effects, et voila.
