Just a link, and a couple of minor things.

I know I've shared this article at least once, but they've borrowed from it again. Mirror therapy = so cool. The brain = so cool. Gawande = so cool.

The Itch by Atul Gawande.

I am not all that engaged in this episode. Music is weird; not sure if it works; a little too "Special Episode." Liked having the old crew around, and Chase's mug-raise to such. The switch of stories on the man who tried to assassinate the patient, and how it makes you reassess your sympathies. Although -- why are these three people in charge of a country's dictator?

ETA: Wilson and House watch True Blood. And make noises over nature documentaries.

Also, go Chase. Even if predicted. Cameron already had her day with Joel Grey, and Foreman's got enough plot tonight.

Okay, negate the not-engaged part. Best performance Jesse Spencer's had on the series. Actual acting. Fight with Foreman. The break in Foreman's voice. Excellent.

The end. Work to do now.

Damn, SO COOL. I was pointing at the TV and saying "THAT'S FOR REAL!"

Hee.

Maybe not so House!miracle fast, but yes! It is so cool that you can trick your brain even when you know you're tricking your brain.

On the subject of mirror therapy, I highly recommend a fascinating book by one of the research pioneers of the therapy: Phantoms in the Brain (http://www.amazon.com/Phantoms-Brain-Probing-Mysteries-Human/dp/0688172172/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1254793265&sr=1-1). I was thrilled to see the therapy's inclusion in House (even though it worked way too fast).

I enjoyed the moral dilemma posed by the POTW. However, I can't help thinking that there must have been a third option that didn't involve murder and violation of the Hippocratic Oath.

Hm, yeah. Also strange that they'd cast an actor that well-known as a character that controversial and yet only have him on screen for about ten minutes.

Ramachandran was one of the only people whose work I respected when I took that neuroscience class.

Jesse Spencer, I knew could act really well, but wow.

Foreman actually emotes! Who knew?

House and Wilson sitting really close together on the sofa watching TV! *G*

A POTW who really gets my attention and makes me think! MOAR PLEASE!

Yeah, I liked it a lot.

I've seen Foreman emote before; if 13 ever shows any other facial expression besides the blank stare and the I am the queen of the entire world because David Shore wants to fuck me smirk, I will probably have a stroke.
