Two weeks ago, my vidding computer went kablooey. I'm still not sure when I'll be able to get it fixed. But it's okay, I told myself. I still have my DVD player to watch episodes and note scenes to clip later.

Then my DVD player stopped working. But it's okay, I told myself. At least I still have my laptop.

Then my laptop picked up a worm, and I lost access to all my programs and the Internet.

All the files were backed up to hard disk and jump drive, but it is not my happy place to lack a single functioning computer. Thankfully, after a day of hair-pulling, three hours of IT triage, and a bucketload of gratitude to the Laundry household for the two minutes of 'net access necessary to acquire the fix-it software, everything is up and running again. \o/

I'd signed on to upload a post when Firefox shut down and this mess started. Guess I'll post that tomorrow.
