This is delightful! John getting tied up and kicked around was always one of my favorite parts of SGA. Great escalation, love the pace, the song is perfect (hah!) - and that moment at 1:43 will forever be hot like burning.

Yay! I'm particularly glad you enjoyed the progression - that's what I struggled hardest with, and until you mentioned it specifically I was still biting my nails about whether John's little journey from taken aback to intrigued to kind of turned on to really turned on to comfortable relationships was coming through, or if it was just a series of scrunchy reaction shots. :) So, hooray. Love this song, too, and was happy to be able to use it for a vidlet.

I actually came here from a rec from somewhere else *g* and I was also curious to see what your vidding style was like. I enjoyed it! Despite only having basic familiarity with the fandom, it has a good beat, clearly audible lyrics (this is a must for me) and a very defined premise, so it was easy to follow. I probably would have 'appreciated' it more if I was in the fandom, but it was fun. I lost focus a bit during the fade-out, but I suspect that was me, not you :)

Basically I wanted to make a vid about how this guy doesn't know what to do with women unless they knock him around a little and tell him what they want, but in the execution it felt a bit like an exercise in showing the same John-face over and over. I might have pointed you to Soccer Practice (http://bironic.livejournal.com/231839.html), which I like more than this one and which is hopefully just as accessible but maybe more funny. But I am glad this didn't turn you off to my vidding! :)
