- Read more books and watched more movies than last year. Could do better on the former.
Fannish/Entertainment Ideas for 2012
- Hollywood films to look forward to: Batman/The Dark Knight Rises, Dark Shadows,
Star Trek?. Oh, looks like there will be a remake of Total Recall. Curious about The Hunger Games. Probably will end up seeing Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and The Hobbit. Maybe Avengers? Still haven't seen Thor, Captain America or Iron Man 2, though. Also maybe Hotel Transylvania, depending on how stupid the trailer is. Maybe Life of Pi? - Ugh, go see the new Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and find out if it's as irritating as the reviews make me feel because the Swedish-Danish version was great
- Be at a con where a vid of mine is screened
- Clear out WsIP, even as amnesties (SGA dance, SGA tentacle toy…)
- Make a Sebastian vid
And now, off for a New Year's Eve day with the Laundrys. ♥ to you all.

Date: Dec. 31st, 2011 03:36 pm (UTC)My boyfriend has seen both the Swedish and US versions of TGWTDT, and said the US version was worth seeing and not a displacement of the Swedish one (and he tends to be very critical). I loved the US version -- did you see my review? -- but have not seen the Swedish yet.
I am glad I've had you on my flist this year. :)

Date: Jan. 2nd, 2012 05:34 am (UTC)Just saw Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It was... okay. I liked the premise a lot. I may even read the book. But the film just wasn't scintillating. (Although Christopher Plummer was excellent, and I like looking at Daniel Craig).
I am super snoopy and want to know what the nice secret thing is!!!!!!!!!!! But I suspect you will not be swayed by multiple exclamation marks. I shall just be happy for you. :-D
