Happy almost Halloween! The power didn't go out in the storm, and by Jove, I am going to finish this Bingo before tomorrow's deadline.

Title: Drink Me
Sources: The Queen of the Damned, True Blood
Pairings: Akasha/Lestat, Lilith/Bill
Music: Heartbeat sound effects by Extremely20 on YouTube + source audio
Length: 1:50
Summary: The power of the blood of the First.
Warnings: Full-frontal female nudity, blood-soaked vampires, femmes fatales, implied character death. Camera pans from ~0:27-0:40. Spoilerish for the end of True Blood season 5.
Notes: For the "hypnosis/mind control" square on my Kink Bingo card. This is the first vid I've made where I laid down all the clips before constructing the audio. Neat. Hope it works for you.

OMG, creeptastic! And it's nearly Halloween here, so good timing! The splicing together of the two sequences worked really well (but I only know the Lestat one from canon). I liked the relatively minimalist but extremely spooky soundtrack - I think it worked better than any songtrack could have, and the average-fast-slow-none heartbeat was a great touch.

Hey, yay, thanks! I'm really glad it worked. (You are my first feedback - I didn't even have take the time to have this properly beta-ed when I made it yesterday.) All I could think of when that True Blood scene aired when Bill was lured into the room with the blood vial was that scene with Those Who Must Be Kept, so it was cool to have a chance to intercut them like this.

Happy Halloween! I am totally going to work in a Star Trek dress in a few minutes. :)

Hey, thank you! It's funny - while putting it together, I was mostly enjoying the parallel visuals and thinking about seduction. Adding the breathing and voiceovers afterwards set the tone of the strong-creepy variety.

Interesting. I would have assumed you did the audio editing first.

That was really cool. I liked the parallel universes here (in spite of never seeing QoTD). The sound track was great. I think you did an super job. Thanks!

Amazing! Kinky and spooky and just-- great. I loved it. I think your soundtrack is perfect; the heartbeat play is spot-on.

Yay! Thanks so much. I'd been keeping this idea in the back of my mind since the True Blood episode aired with Lilith first appearing to Bill in the sanctuary, but didn't connect it with the bingo square until like Monday. I'd been planning to do a Vampire Diaries story instead with consent play! But things don't always work out the way you plan, eh? I think this was a good fit. And the heartbeats definitely suited the vampire genre in the end. I tried this Joseph Arthur song My Home Is Your Head (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVgQyUSp9aQ), but using a song just didn't work the same way.

Thanks much!

Have been thinking of your VVC panel this week with all the Hammer films and whatnot on TV. "Son of Frankenstein" is on right now. The quirkiness is devolving as the town gets angrier, but the sets are such fun.
