Thursday evenings are also one of the three times a week I have a recurring appointment/activity. Sigh. Now we will see if the DVR (which I finally broke down and bought because I was seriously weighing not playing a sport so I could watch my shows) can record simultaneous programming.

(Hi! It's almost Friday! I was supposed to go to NY this weekend for a milestone birthday of my father's, but the airline suggested that was not a good idea on account of oncoming blizzard, so that will happen at the end of the month and now there will be free time! Curtains may happen!)

(TBD whether exclamation marks actually make a day more exciting.)

Your list of TV you watch shows both great restraint as well as diversity. And the Thursday issue clearly proves Murphey's Law. Or it is the universe telling you that playing sports is bad for you.

To be fair, at other times of year there are favorite shows that air on weekends, i.e. True Blood and Game of Thrones. But then, I don't get those channels....

That's why I didn't get into House until late Season Two -- because Tuesday nights at 9 pm had:
- Amazing Race
- House
- My Name Is Earl
- Commander in Chief

And we did not have a decent DVR in 2005/2006.

And when House moved to Mondays, I had dance at the same time and no DVR. Which is why I fell a season behind! Well, that, laziness and fading interest. But you know this. And helped drag me back in. :)
