Last nightunfinishedidea introduced a couple of us to this awesome video mashup series called Filmography. Tone shifts! The technology sequence in 2012! This woman stitches together meta trailers from hundreds of the year's top movies. Well, stitched. No sooner did we watch 2010-2013 than we learned she isn't planning to make any more. :(
ETA: Although there is this, by Pteryx, which incorporates TV as well.
I also learned -- or relearned? -- about DJ Earworm. It was an educational evening.
