One of several entertaining bits of trivia I learned from my husband, who grew up on a farm and raised animals for 4H, is that certain breeds of cattle are judged by the squareness of their butts. Trufax! I definitely need to show this to him.

(Also, sheep are washed with Woolite before showing, and sheep parentage is determined by having the rams wear chalk necklaces and then noting the colors that have been rubbed off on the ewes after mating. Also also, sheep are dumb enough they can drown in a bucket. My husband did not have a high opinion of sheep.)

I am given to understand that the desire for square rumps and briskets gave rise to all those paintings, later enabling the meme! That is also awesome about the chalk marks and the Woolite. Should've been a gag on Shaun the Sheep.
