Aw, it's my first Harry Potter story! After years of reading it and writing about it, I have made a contribution of my own to the body of Marauders-era fanfic. Hard to believe it took this long. But it is here, and it is of course Remus/Sirius, and it was such fun to write and I love how it turned out. Go forth and enjoy!

Heh, yeah, it made the fandom go explode-y earlier this week. I'd heard about the question and answer back in... May?... when the interview was taped, and it was exciting because people made it sound as if Hugh Laurie were gung-ho about H/W. (At least one person also misheard his "I'm game" as "I'm gay," but that's another story.) Watching it, though, he really just looks uncomfortable and seems to be trying for the most PC answer possible. I'm thrilled the question made the cut, but it's a bit anticlimactic.

When it comes to writer/producer/actor support for H/W, I still like Katie Jacobs' quote in a Chicago Tribune interview (http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/entertainment_tv/2006/05/houseapalooze_p.html) best:

"What I love is that the audience feels, and I feel, that there's potential for House and Cameron. I think there's potential for House and Cuddy. There have been a lot of gay references to House and Wilson. [laughs] And I think we're going to play with all of that. I don't think any of that is over. I love that all of that is percolating. I hope we haven't extinguished any possibility."

Damn, how did I miss it? Not nearly enough House people on the flist, methinks. He certainly seems to be thinking it over carefully before responding though, doesn't he? Ah well - so long as he's game. ^_~

*giggles* Oh, I hope so. Play away, dear writers.

The best thread was, naturally, in [livejournal.com profile] house_wilson, here (http://community.livejournal.com/house_wilson/331762.html).

[starts to type and then deletes, several times] Right, nothing intelligent coming to mind on the subject, so I'm off to bed. to dream of House & Wilson
