Skipping seasons of TV shows you're fannish about

Ah, crap. Just found out Sci Fi is doing an all-day SGA marathon season-three catch-up, and I am AT WORK with NO ONE HOME anywhere who could tape it for me. Dammit.

At least "McKay and Mrs. Miller" is the one on during my lunch break so I can try to watch that over everyone's chatter in the kitchen.

My original question for today: season four second half of season three of SGA starts Friday. I've seen seasons one and two and can't get hold of the other episodes in time. Do I (a) jump in to season four the second half of season three and get spoiled for season three the first half, or (b) record new eps each week until I've caught up?
