I am -- was -- okay, am still having a grumpy day and a stressful week, but there is this not-really-spoilery promo shot for the next House episode:

All I have to say is: (1) OMG cute, and (2) I can't believe I called this of all things.
Now bring on the mistletoe.

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 09:20 pm (UTC)Actually I do that even when he is not wearing a hat.
House's smile seems very Lauriesque :D

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 09:44 pm (UTC)I would prefer if the hat were a headband, but I will take this nevertheless.
Ditto on torso-gazing. :D

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 09:20 pm (UTC)I don't know about New Jersey, but in Maryland we do often get snow that's really dry. It can pile up a few inches and still be swept away with a broom. It's more like cold dust than snow.
So it's fake snow, but.... possibly... maybe.... acceptable if you kinda squint. And not think about it too much.

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 09:49 pm (UTC)House's smile is wonderful. It's rare enough as it is, and even better to see when it's Wilson-elicited and -directed. Goes on the list with the MRI "This is God" and the infamous Chinese dinner and the post-broken-cane grin, etc.

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 09:32 pm (UTC)Oh my holy God. Oh, Wilson.
And House (well, or HL) looks like he's about to lose it and burst out laughing.

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 09:36 pm (UTC)Though I have to admit when I first clicked I thought they were mannequins, because, airbrushing much?

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 09:40 pm (UTC)I think RSL has in fact lost weight since last season and his thinness here isn't totally due to airbrushing. My theory is still that the extra weight was a side effect of medication that he may have been taking during that time.

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 09:58 pm (UTC)It's hard to tell whether he's lost weight when his face and body seem to change depending on the episode, outfit and camera angle, but I guess we will know better in January if this photo is accurate. Which I hope it is. Poor guy has nothing better to do in his five days off each week than sit in his apartment and eat. Maybe the writer's strike will be good for him as he walks around NYC and burns some calories. :)

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 10:16 pm (UTC)It may be like that supposed promo photo of Cuddy and House at the piano in "All In" that got everyone all worked up and then turned out to have been posed. I'll be very disappointed if it is, because it's such a cute photo.

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 10:11 pm (UTC)Although, for a moment there I am wondering if it's a wax figure of Wilson, and that's why House finds it so funny, because it will freak Wilson right the hell out to have a cheerful mannequin of himself in his balcony window.

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 10:22 pm (UTC)...
Oh, he totally would. That would explain why Wilson looks a little different to us, too--The sculptor was working from whatever photos House had.

Date: Dec. 20th, 2007 10:26 pm (UTC)It explains everything -- even the svelte figure. House's ideal Wilson -- trim, dorky and playful.

Date: Dec. 21st, 2007 01:22 am (UTC)Though yes, it does look very behind-the-scenes-ish to me. Like that photo
youmy other LJ friend Marina (ikilledkenny86, she posts her thoughts on House and a few other shows weekly, as well as good links like that) posted a link to a while ago, of HL, JM, JS and OE. There was I do believe a x-mas tree in the background there...found the link after realizing it was not you who had posted it:http://i1.tinypic.com/8abhjkk.jpg (and look who is in it that I just happened to forget :) )
Though I could be wrong, because look, no red shirt on HL/House..

Looks like Wilson took a dare to wear the antler hat, and caught House off-guard.

Date: Dec. 22nd, 2007 01:52 am (UTC)I wore my own antler headband to work today and garnered a few smiles, but none so endearing as House's.
